It's been forever since I've updated. I keep forgetting to bring my usb hookup for my camera when I go to my uncles house to get internet. It's weird not getting wifi in my room.
So, what's new with me? I'm getting a tan!! :) but, in Taiwan, tans aren't so good. Girls like to have pale skin. It's kinda funny watching a person trying to ride a bike while holding an umbrella or a boyfriend helping cover his girlfriend's face with a purse to keep her from tanning. simple things entertian me.
I went to an english speaking church today. I'm thinking that I'm turning into my dad... I had a page of notes about what I didn't like about the church. I almost left when they passed around the offering plate twice. And the women praying and woman deacons didn't help much either. I guess I'll find another church to try out. I hope I can find one that has the Lord's supper every Sunday. God willing, I'll find a church soon. I kinda prefer my grandma's church even though they speak a language that I don't understand.
My first day of classes was on Thurday. I have 9 people in my class. 1 american, 1 australian, 1 mexican, 3 korean, and 2 japanese. It's an interesting mix, but good 'cause the only language everyone can communcate in is chinese. The material is kinda a review though, but there are some words from the previous book that I've never heard and grammer I haven't learned. It's kinda hard switching from curriculms.
Um...can't think of anything else to say. Hopefully I'm remember my usb and post pics up. I have tons.

The first day
So I woke up at 7 this morning. It's 10:45 am right now in Taiwan. So far I've been unpacking my stuff and walking around the neighborhood. My uncle took me to the supermarket to buy some fruit juice. It's fun! There are different levels so the esecaltors are flat so that you can push a shopping cart on them. I thought it was kinda neat. hehe. simple things amazing me. Well, I'm off shopping with my cousin. She's going to take me to buy a camera and cellphone so hopefully I will have pictures soon.

Taiwan!!
I've had it to Taiwan. After a 4 hour flight from STL to LAX. A 5 hour layover, then a 12 hour flight to Taiwan. I've finally made it. My camera was really burry so I'll have to get pics from Ebony about the flight. It's burning up here. It feels like camp so hopefully I'll get used to it soon. Love ya lots!

Only a few days away..
Wow! I'm leaving on Thursday. Time has flown by so quick. I didn't really think I would feel that homesick, but I visited camp the other day. I don't wanna miss out on a whole summer at Dayspring. I went to the end of staff training and it seems like their is going to be a whole new fresh group of staff/counselors. I'm really excited for the upcoming camps. Talking about camps, me and Hannah have some awesome ideas of a girl's week or weekend camp. Maybe we should try to direct when I get back. :p How crazy would that be? I'll definately be thinking about camp every night before I fall asleep. I'm praying and thinking about you guys.
